Gorgeous, Sara and Pfeni Rosensweig are gathering in London to celebrate Sara’s birthday. To a lesser degree, they also mark the recent passing of their mother. Set in 1991, the emotional weekend eventually covers everything from class and religion to culture, status and sibling rivalry. Inner demons are dealt with, and Sara’s birthday ultimately materializes as a rebirth for her. And all of this just happens to occur as the Soviet Union falls.
